2007 Lichtenfels Visit to Vandalia

In June of 2007, 35 friends from Lichtenfels Germany, visited Vandalia. They spent a week here staying with host families and enjoying various activities. There was a picnic at Taylorsville Reserve to begin the week. Monday evening was a Dayton Dragons baseball game followed by drinks and snacks at Brixx Ice House. The next day was a trip to Ohio Caverns, a stop at the Mad River farm market, lunch at Rothschild Farm and a tour of Freshwater Fish farm. The evening was a welcome party with a 50th theme. Wednesday was an open day that host and guests were free to do whatever they wished. Thursday was a trip to the Newport Aquarium, lunch at Mike Fink riverboat restaurant and a visit to the World Pease Bell. Friday was the farewell party the Meadowbrook Country Club.
